On-site laundry

24/7 security and CCTV
Weekly room cleaning
Weekly bed linen change
Excursions
At ABC, we believe learning continues beyond the classroom. We organise full and half-day excursions, led by our activity staff, giving students the chance to see and learn more about the UK. Since all students prepare a presentation at the end of their course, teachers and activity leaders encourage them to incorporate the experiences and places they’ve encountered during excursions. This motivates students to make the most of every visit. From exploring the sights of London to visiting the historic university cities of Oxford or Cambridge, or enjoying the British seaside in Brighton, there is so much to see and do.
Activities & Staff
Our activity programme is a crucial part of every child’s camp experience. Each activity is designed to encourage students to engage with each other, have fun, and practise their English in a relaxed and enjoyable way. From sports and quizzes to karaoke, talent shows, and discos, students at ABC never complain of boredom!
We carefully select activity staff, who are trained in safeguarding and leadership to inspire young learners. With over 60 years of combined experience running junior courses, the senior management team of ABC have put all their expertise into creating a high-quality, safe, and secure environment, packed with fun excursions, lively activities, and a life-changing experience for young English learners.
We provide 24/7 support during each student’s stay. Our team is always available to assist, and each student is given an emergency contact number that can be reached at any time, day or night.
Each site has a dedicated team, including a Centre Manager, Director of Studies, Activity Manager, and Welfare Officer. Additionally, we have Teachers at a ratio of 1:15 and Activity Leaders at a ratio of 1:20. Please note that this is accurate for all camps when mixed groups are studying with us. For closed groups, when they are the only group in a camp, the teacher ratio may be higher than 15:1 if special requests have been made.
Meals
Meals are a key part of the daily routine, and we ensure our students are well-fed with nutritious options. We work closely with catering teams at each location to agree on menus, which may vary slightly but always include a variety of healthy meals. We can also accommodate any dietary requirements, provided we are informed in advance.
All meals are served in a canteen, except for packed lunches on weekends. Students have a range of options to choose from, ensuring they receive their recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables per day.
